You may have already heard of or used Pilot's Dr. Grip series, which is famous for its comfortable grip and reducing fatigue during long writing sessions. THE DR. GRIP Mechanical Pencil builds on the Dr. Grip series, further enhancing ergonomics, functionality, and design.

• Ergonomic Design for Comfort
  THE DR. GRIP is designed to help reduce hand fatigue, numbness, and shoulder stiffness, which often occur after long periods of writing. Its barrel is ergonomically shaped, and the rubber grip has ideal elasticity with a comfortable, non-sticky feel.
• Fure Fure / Lock Modes
  By twisting the pencil’s body, you can switch between Fure Fure mode and Lock mode. In Fure Fure mode, simply shake the pencil forward to extend the lead automatically, without needing to press, which helps maintain your writing flow with less interruptions. In Lock mode, the shake-to-extend feature is turned off to prevent the lead from accidentally extending while carrying, but you can still extend the lead by pressing the top button.
• Quiet Design
  Compared to previous models, THE DR. GRIP is designed to be much quieter. The knocking sound when extending the lead and the sound of the Fure Fure mechanism have been reduced by about 50%. So, it's perfect for use in quiet environments like libraries or meetings.
• Matte Pearl Finish
  The pencil’s body has a sleek, metallic finish that gives it a cool, sophisticated look. The tip section features a subdued matte pearl finish, adding a calm and polished feel to the overall design.
