This refill set is designed for the Pilot FriXion Synergy 3 3-color pen, and is also compatible with other Pilot FriXion multi pens.

It features the unique Synergy Tip that combines the advantages of both pipe-style and cone-style tips. This tip allows for precise, fine lines with less obstruction from the tip, like a pipe tip, while still offering the stable and smooth writing feel of a cone tip. The 0.4 mm tip is great for detailed writing, especially helpful when writing in small planner grids.

It uses thermo-sensitive ink that can be erased. You get the smooth, clear writing feel of gel ink, while still being able to erase and rewrite like a pencil, without worrying too much about mistakes.

In addition to sets with three refills in black, red, or blue, there is also a mixed set that includes all three colors.

* A quick note
Since this is thermo-sensitive ink, try not to leave your writing under direct sunlight or in high-temperature environments, such as inside a parked car or near a heater. The ink disappears when friction heat reaches around 65°C, and can reappear at temperatures around -10°C. So if you put a notebook with erased writing into the freezer, the marks may come back. For everyday use, the writing stays clear and reliable, but it’s not recommended for signatures or official documents.
