This cover features a dreamy and mysterious illustration by Hiroko Kubota. Shooting stars streaking across the lake and glowing fish leaping from the water trace similar arcs through the scene, making it hard for the cat in the boat to tell them apart. Look a little closer and you’ll notice another cat on the shore scattering stardust into the lake as bait, catching the attention of the tiny glowing fish below.

The arc of the large golden fish is finished with shimmering aurora foil, which shifts in color as it catches the light, like a glow moving beneath the surface of the water.
