[Description]

The Ukidel Ink Pad by Shachihata is a uniquely creative ink pad that offers a completely new stamping experience. Using a special white ink that repels water-based ink, it allows your favorite stamp designs to appear as white silhouettes against a watercolor background. This unique effect opens up new possibilities for journaling, crafting, and artistic projects.

The Ukidel set includes an ink pad (42mm diameter), a bottle of refill ink (7ml), and a bottle of special cleaner (10ml). 

How to Use

• Press your rubber stamp onto the Ukidel Ink Pad several times to absorb the white ink evenly.
• After stamping, allow the ink to dry completely. Once dry, apply fountain pen ink or any water-based dye ink pens over it to reveal the white stamp impression against the colored background.
• After use, clean your stamp with the included special cleaner to maintain its condition for future use.
  * For best results, let the stamped design dry for about 10 minutes before applying ink (drying time may vary depending on the paper and ink used). 
  * If there is excess ink on the stamped image, gently blot it with a cotton swab or tissue before it dries to achieve a clean finish. 

How to Refill the Ink Pad

• Before first use, add ink to the pad by placing a few drops onto the included refill tray. Then, place the ink pad face down on the tray until all the ink is absorbed.
• For subsequent use, lightly apply ink in a circular motion on the ink pad surface and use the nozzle tip to spread it evenly.

Please Note

• The Ukidel ink and cleaner are not compatible with clear stamps or eraser stamps, as they may cause damage to the stamp surface.
• Ukidel is designed for water-based dye inks only. It does not repel water-based pigment inks or oil-based inks. Always test on scrap paper before use.
