The Midori Carton Opener is a compact cutter designed for everyday use at home or in the office. With its durable ceramic blade, it smoothly handles everything from opening boxes and envelopes to trimming cushioning material or separating kitchen recyclables like milk cartons and bottle labels.

The lid opens 180 degrees for a comfortable grip, and folds back into a neat round shape for safe storage in a pocket or bag. A strap hole makes it easy to carry, while a built-in neodymium magnet lets you keep it on a fridge, metal rack, pegboard, or door, always ready when you need it.

The blade can be flipped to use both sides, and replaced with refills (sold separately) for long-lasting, sustainable use. The body is made of reinforced resin with glass fiber for durability, tough enough for frequent use. It has been recognized with Japan’s Good Design Award.
