Part of the LACONIC in Action series, this cassette tape-inspired notebook features a realistic retro design that feels nostalgic, creative, and quietly relaxing. Like an actual cassette tape, the notebook comes stored inside a transparent plastic case, which helps protect it from bent corners while making it easy to carry in a bag. Its compact size, roughly around A7, also makes it comfortable to carry around and easy to hold in one hand while writing.

The cassette-style cover inside is actually an index sheet, allowing you to organize, label, and quickly identify your notes at a glance. The notebook itself is also designed around the idea of cassette tape A and B sides. One side features lined pages, while the reverse side uses grid pages, allowing you to start from either direction depending on your needs.

There is something playful and slightly ritual-like about this crossing of directions and layouts, making the act of writing feel a little more intentional. Of course, it can also be used like a regular notebook, with the left and right pages planned separately to organize a full spread of notes, ideas, schedules, or records in your own way.
