Furukawa Shiko Hontowatashi Mino Washi Book Cover - Night on the Galactic Railroad

[Description]

This book cover comes from Furukawa Shiko’s HONTOWATASHI series, meaning “Books and I,” created for those who love reading. It fits most A6-sized books and notebooks around 1 cm thick.

Made with Mino Washi, the cover has a delicate, fibrous texture shaped by droplets of water during the rakusui papermaking process. The fine fibers feel soft and warm in your hands, adding a quiet, comforting feel to your reading time.

The design reimagines Kenji Miyazawa’s Night on the Galactic Railroad as a classic hardcover book, with cat motifs adding a cute, playful twist and a slightly nostalgic feel.

Please note: This cover opens from left to right, opposite to most Western books, following a traditional binding style commonly used in Japan. You can also use it with a Western-style book or notebook if you don’t mind having the front cover design on the back.
